Location Sound

Mixing, recording and boom operation, basic kit includes Sound Devices mixer, boom, Lectrosonics Lavaliers, timecode. Inquire about entire kit in the Contact form. Experience in documentary, narrative, and commercial works.

Music Composition

We have a full recording studio set up for recording any genre or styling of music, from traditional Accordion waltz to modern EDM stylings.
This can be anything from cinematic scores require full ensembles, to small indie arrangements for commercial or video games. -- The stranger the better, for us.

Sound Design

Full sound design set up, complete with modern Modular synthesis, analog vintage synths, and more experimental digital sound design techniques.
The studio is equipped with a Haken Continuum and the Kyma sound design suite, and we have extensive experience in all synthesis techniques for all purposes.

Post Production Audio

Syncing audio with video, mixing, foley, sound effects, mastering for web, theatrical, VR, video games. Check out the Sound Reel in Work.

Masha's passion for sound began when she discovered the magic of the Nagra tape machine at Bard College while being a math and Computer Science major, and film music minor. The clarity of the audio was able to enhance the look of an image. Throughout her lifetime, she has had a passion of recording interesting sounds she comes accross, and has accrued a diverse collection of audiophile quality recordings that can be used for sound design or foley, or enjoyed in their own right. While working in Software for 5 years, she was doing freelance audio recording jobs on the side, and has now transitioned to being fully freelance in Location sound, music composition and recording, and post audio. Her preferred DAW is protools.

Chris Rose studied Jazz briefly at the the University of Anchorage Alaska before moving to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue music more directly. Producing experimental music, performing and working in the world of Software expanded music into Sound Design and post production. Since, they have composed hundreds of hours of music ranging in all styles, scored multiple films and commercial projects, and been heavily engaged in the music community in Los Angeles. This has expanded from music to sound design with modern Modular synth techniques, as well as all forms of digital and software techniques.
